Blocker, Clarence E
Mr. Clarence Edward “Ed” Blocker went to his heavenly home on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024. Born on May 30, 1925, in Dickson, TN to the late Clarence Blocker and Lilly Mae Bishop Blocker.
Mr. Ed was preceded in death by wives, Wilma Sue Easley, and Linda Green. Two daughters Kathy Holliman and Judith Watwood and grandson William Edward Newell Jr., brothers Lewis, Johnny, Clyde and Shorty, sisters Ethel, Helen and Ann Laura.
Mr. Ed is survived by daughter Debbie (Kenny) Callis of Smyrna, TN, grandchildren Misty (Zack) Fletcher, Holly (Josh) McNatt, Jared Callis of Smyrna, TN, Katie Johnson, Stantus Holloman, Chase Holloman, Houston of Fairview, TN. Greatgrandchildren Natalie, Paige, Bryson, Addison, Jake, Brooklyn, Billy and Brailynn, sister Betty Sue Rosson, brother James Rosson, many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Blocker was a master welder and started his own business Stud Welding with special friend Lambert Lamberson. Mr. Blocker was a WWII Veteran and served on the USS Abbott DD629. He was a member of the masonic lodge and community servant.
Above all Mr. Ed loved his family, friends, and enjoyed life daily. Mr. Ed gave his life to Christ and is now in Heaven at the feet of Jesus.
Visitation with the family will be 6 Mar 2024 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County during which a Masonic Service will be held at 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held 7 Mar 2024 at 1;00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County with burial to follow at Charles L Nickell Memorial Park, Centerville, TN.
