A memorial service for Larry Kenneth Blackburn, age 59, was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Lomax Church of Christ with Paul Conquest officiating.  Mr. Blackburn died Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville.  McDonald Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.  He was born September 18, 1951 in Nashville to the late Billy Blackburn and Lina Sue Erwin Blackburn.  A lead tech laborer for Nissan, he was the husband of Belinda Spears Blackburn of Hohenwald.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Scott Blackburn of Nashville; one daughter, Danielle Stone, also of Nashville; two brothers, David (Lisa) Blackburn of Franklin and Steve Blackburn of Murfreesboro; one aunt, Marlene Blackburn of Hendersonville; one uncle, James (Evelyn) Blackburn, also of Hendersonville; several nieces and nephews; and one granddaughter.  In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
