Black, Tabitha LeeAnn
Tabitha LeeAnn Black, born on June 20, 1995, to Leslie Harris and Jason Black, passed away early on September 2, 2023 due to an automobile accident. She was 28 years old.
Tabitha was a 2013 graduate of Florence High School, Florence, Alabama. She worked in the nursing facility of Glenwood Health Care for the past eight years, first as a Nurses Aide and then Activities Director. She was a tender and loving caregiver which extended to her children and family. Tab always had a smile and a kind word for all.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jack and Ina Black, aunt Tammy Black Hildago; great grandparents, James and Ann Anderson and Mac and Sara Harris; and great, great-grandmother, Tabitha “Bitha” Bullion. Tabitha was loved and will be sadly missed by a large extended family and a great many friends.
She is survived by two sons, Taylor, son of Desmond Connie, and Khaedix, son of Keyontae Turner; her mother, Leslie Harris Smith; sister, Savannah Stocko, all of Florence, Alabama; her father, Jason L. Black, brother, Max Black, and nephew, Lennox, and grandparents, Ray and Barbara Harris, all of Hohenwald; uncle, Adam (Cammy) Harris of Jackson; aunts, Sharon Kea, Elliott and Piper Harris of Henderson; aunt, Emily (Shane) Fisher of Winona, Mississippi; uncle, Phillip Black, aunt, Jackie (Jerry) Plant, Josh Plant, Jere Plant, and Tara Morton of Mt. Pleasant; and Christal Black and Megan Black of Tennessee.
