Carrie LeAnn Black, age 47, of Ethridge, peacefully passed away on December 21st, 2023 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville.

She enjoyed spending her time at the Amish Welcome Center, working with arts and crafts, and spending time with her friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Rick Cogdill; Maternal Grandparents, Billy and Jeanette Bergin; Paternal Grandfather, Edgar Cogdill.

She is survived by her Children, Stanton O’Guin, Jordan Haislip (Eric), Ian Black (Shay), and Jett Black; Mother, Julie Shults; Sisters, Melanie Tucker, Ginny Carroll (Jon), Rikki Lea Taylor (Nick), and Brittany Shults; Step Siblings, Travis Shults and Becky McIntyre; Grandmother, Phyllis Cogdill; Grandchildren, Addilyn Luck, Kamdyn Haislip, Carter Haislip, Olivia Haislip, and Rodney Morgan; Several Nieces, Nephews, and a host of Friends.

Visitation for Ms. Carrie LeAnn Black will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home in Lawrenceburg on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

A private graveside service will take place following the visitation.

Interment will be held at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
