Berrer, David Merle
David Merle Berrer, of Linden, TN, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at the age of 78. He was born on September 7, 1942, to Herman S Berrer and Mary (Norton) Berrer, in Portland, Maine.
David was a hardworking man all of his life, and that showed in everything he did. He worked for several years as a cleaning technician at Walt Disney World in Florida. He had a very large group of friends at Disney. He was a proud member of the Chickapea Volunteer Fire Department and the Knights of Apithias. Above all, David was a huge NASCAR fan. He traveled to as many races as he could.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Berrer, of Linden, son, David (Jennifer) M Berrer, Jr., of Hohenwald, daughters, Desiree (Bob) Bayley, of Linden, and Stacy (Tom) Pittsenbarger, of St. Cloud, FL, sister, Irene (Mark) Meyer, of Oregon, grandchildren: Joshua, Zachariah (Megan), and Isaiah (Amy) Bayley, David-Evan (Brittney) and Derby Lee Berrer, as well as Heath and Piper Pittsenbarger, great grandchildren: Allison Bayley and Lilly-Ann Berrer, a childhood friend, Liz Wood, his best friend for over 50 years, Bob Sanborn, and a close friend, Anne Steele.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Kevin Berrer.
Memorial services will be held on Sunday, February 7, 2021, at 2:00 PM, at the First Baptist Church in Linden, TN.
