Carlton Mac Baxter, 89 of Hohenwald passed away December 21, 2019 at ACH Lewis County.   He was born in Lewis County to the late Luther and Lillian Dabbs Baxter on April 14,1930.   He began working at Dwyer Company in Michigan City, IN. manufacturing parts that would be used in hospital settings.  On February 26,1949 he married Mrs. Julia Pace Baxter in Corinth, MS. and began their family.  In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing but most of all spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. 

Along with his wife he is survived by his children, Danny Baxter and Kathy Brasfield; Grandchildren, Rodney Brasfield, James Brasfield, Theresa Brasfield and Gregory Brasfield; and great-grandchildren, Austin Brasfield and Jasmine Brasfield.

Mr. Baxter was also preceded in death by his son, David Baxter.

A memorial service will be planned after the New year.
