Mary Ann Bates was born on May 18, 1934 in Ecorse, Mi to the late Peter and Geneva Ivanishon, and departed this life on May 21, 2022 at her home in Centerville, TN at the age of 88.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Horace Bates Jr. and her siblings.

She is survived by her son Horace James Bates, along with other relatives and friends.   

Burial Services will be held 25 May 2022 at 11:00 AM at Hilltop Cemetery, Lyles, TN.
