Carrie Evelyn Bates was born on April 30, 1932 and passed away on October 17, 2022 at the age of 90.

She is the daughter of the late Lewis and Jennie Petty Cannon. She is also preceded in death by her husband Odie Bates, brothers Wesley Cannon, Nathan Cannon, Lloyd Cannon, and Davis Cannon, sisters Birdie Dudley, Novice Baker, and Esther Dunn.

She is survived by her daughters Betty Bates and Cindy Bates, grandson Jeff Rochelle, brother Bufford Cannon, and sisters Linda Russo and Donna Dunlap.

Graveside Services will be held 20 Oct 2022 at 11:00 AM at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens, Nashville, TN.
