Carolyn Barnett was born on March 11, 1954, and passed away on July 14, 2025, at the age of 71.

She is the daughter of the late Brown Low Reed and Rosa Gibson Reed. She is also preceded in death by her sisters Emilee Remilard, Rhada Hatcher, and Opal Baker.

She is survived by her husband David Barnett, daughter Rosa Barnett, brother Wayne Reed, sisters Anna Partin, and Helen Newhouse, many nieces and nephews and friends.  

Burial will be on 18 July 2025 at 10:30 AM at Newhouse Family Cemetery, 6554 West Church Drive, Lyles, TN.
