Michael Robert Barnes was born on April 12, 1956 in Dickson, TN to Charles Robert Barnes and Marie Hutchison Collins. He spent much of his life working as an auto body technician. Michael passed away in Oak Ridge, TN on October 7, 2019 at the age of 63.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 46 years, Connie Diane Barnes; his stepfather, Frank Collins; his daughters, Shawna Hurst of Clinton, TN and Crystal Barnes of Powell, TN; his sisters, Lisa (Doug) Chandler, Sonnja (Ryan) Johnston, and Rhonda (Bob) Wilkerson, all of Nunnelly, TN; along with three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held 10 Oct 2019 at 11:00 AM at Collins Cemetery, Nunnelly, TN.
