In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her siblings, Eula Stockard and Eddie Ellison.
She was the proud mother of a son, Chad (Laura Dicus) Cothran, and her daughters, Lisa Fransen, LeAnn (Randal) Hankins, and Teresa (Jason) Zencuch; her grandchildren, Jessica (Justin) Draughon, Logan Fransen, Ethan Fransen, Haley Hankins, Eli Hankins, Aubrey Hankins, Jackie Zencuch, Katey Zencuch, and Izzy Zencuch. A woman of many talents, Linda was known for her expertise in the kitchen. She proudly owned the General Café for 13 years, a place that became a community hub under her warm presence. Her pies were a local favorite, and she took great pleasure in baking for Hanks and Southern Skillet. Her pies weren’t just dessert, they were an expression of her love and care for her community. She found solace in her garden. Her love for her garden was only rivaled by her love for her grandchildren. Their happiness was one of her greatest rewards. She was a faithful member of the New Hope Baptist Church, Linda’s faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and shaping her into the woman we all knew and loved.
She touched countless lives, leaving an indelible imprint on all she encountered. Her spirit will continue to live on through the love she shared, and the family she cherished.
