Bansbach, Paul Louis
At the age of 95, Mr. Paul Louis Bansbach passed away at his Hohenwald home on August 8, 2022. Mr. Bansbach was born in St. Louis, MO on November 14, 1926, to the late Aloysius John and Rose Agnes Deutschmann Bansbach. Along with his parents he was preceded by his wife of 51 years Mrs. Virginia Rose Hargis Bansbach. He was a member of the United States Navy and proudly served to protect his country.
Paul led a somewhat adventurous life after retiring from a career as a chemical engineer. He always looked forward to taking road trips to just about anywhere. Many times, he would end up at the Grand Canyon, and being an avid hiker, he hiked the Grand Canyon many times until his mid 70’s. Mr. Bansbach was a hands-on guy and was building a house from the ground up in his early 80’s. After settling down a bit he enjoyed being at home with his family or relaxing and working on his needle point. He would often sit and just listen to his favorite jazz or classical music to pass the time.
Mr. Paul is survived by his loving children Barbara Ann Cockrell, Susan Marie Kennedy, Diane Lorraine Buescher (Michael), Sandra Rose Hess (David), Mark Joseph Bansbach (Gina); 11 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.
A service is planned at Resurrection Cemetery and will be announced when the dates become available. Adair Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
