Baker, Raymond Junior
Raymond Junior Baker was born on July 25, 1939, in Columbia, Tennessee and passed away on November 9, 2019, at his home in Nashville. He was 80 years old. He was the son of the late Ernest Washington Baker and Carrie Mai Cates Baker.
He was also preceded in death by his siblings Ray Baker, Bennie Baker, Donna Kilgore, Jewel Choate, Fred Baker, and Marie Collins.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Ann Baker of Nashville. Daughters, Christy Baker of Centerville, Rebecca Baker of Shelbyville, Kayla (Hunter Graves) Baker of Nashville, and Brittany Baker of Murfreesboro. Son, Bubba Baker of White Bluff. 14 Grandchildren as well as a whole host of other relatives, friends, and loved ones.
Mr. Baker worked for Tennessee Tree and Construction. Mr. Baker enjoyed music, he listened to country music, especially by Johnny Cash and playing the guitar himself. He also liked to watch westerns and John Wayne. He will be remembered by his family as a jokester, a hard worker, and a man who loved bologna and glass of cold water. He was a good father and grandfather and was always there for his friends and family when they needed him. He would give the shirt off his back to help someone. He will be deeply missed.
Graveside Services will be held at Baker Cemetery in Primm Springs, TN on Monday, 11 November 2019 at 3pm. Burial will follow in Baker Cemetery.
