Naomi Ruth Bailey, age 90, passed away peacefully December 26, 2023, after an extended illness. She was born February 4, 1933, in Spartenberg, Texas, to Ray Baines Davis and Cora Lee Willingham Davis.

Naomi spent her life in service to others. She was a mentor, listener, encourager, and teacher committed to the Lord’s work. She was an advocate for abused women and children and worked with Women Are Safe for awhile. She loved to paint and color and was an avid reader.

Naomi is survived by her daughters, Linda Taylor of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and Cindy Buffington (James) of Pillow, Pennsylvania and her son, Gary Bailey (Cindy) of Centerville, Tennessee. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Scott (Lindsey) Bailey, Dustin (Diana) Bailey, Jamey (Malena) Taylor, Nanice Miller, and twelve great-grandchildren.

Visitation with the Bailey family will be Thursday, December 28, 2023, beginning at 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 29, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of McDonald Funeral home with Mike Kelley and Bill McDonald officiating. Burial will be in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens in Nashville, TN.
