Mrs. Betty Jolene (Burns) Averett, passed away on June 8, 2021 at the age of 61. She was born in Nashville, TN on June 29, 1959 to the late Clarence Burns & Lula Mae (Quillen) Burns.

She worked for the Hohenwald Housing Authority for many years as the resident coordinator.

She is survived by her Daughter, Allyson Averett, Considered A Sister (Cousin),  Lisa Harlow and grand-dogs. Cooper & Lily.

Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, June 11th from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home – Lewis County.  A graveside service is scheduled for Friday, June 11th in the Swiss Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN, beginning at 2:00 PM.
