Odell Raymond Ashmore, age 74, of Summertown, died Tuesday, August 27, 2002 at his home. Funeral service will be conducted Thursday afternoon at two o’clock in the chapel of McDonald Funeral Home with Tommy Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Hinestown Cemetery. Mr. Ashmore is the son of the late Dink and Pearl Burlison Ashmore. He is a retired carpenter. Survivors include his wife, Minnie Ruth Doss Ashmore; one son, Raymond Glen Ashmore of Summertown; a daughter, Sandra Lynn Ashmore of Columbia; one brother, James L. (Pat) Ashmore of Loretto; three sisters, Florine Darnell and Ruby Darnell, both of Summertown, and Alma Hall of Nashville.
