Hannah Joy was known for her exuberant, joyful, and intense personality, a real firecracker. She didn’t hold anything back, and everything she did was with her whole being. Hannah was an original. She lived and loved as big as her gorgeous mane of curly hair!
Hannah lived in Florida until she was 11 years old and then moved with her family to Tennessee and has resided here since. She was a graduate of Lewis County High School. Hannah enjoyed spending time outdoors-fishing, swimming or just appreciating the sunset. When she was a little girl, she watched cooking shows instead of cartoons, and as she grew, so did her passion for the culinary world. She was almost always found whipping up a variety of foods in the kitchen, most without a recipe. Hannah loved music and was always dancing and singing. She had amazing rhythm and an incredible voice. She was also very talented with makeup and hair and never went anywhere without looking like a million bucks.
One thing that is undeniable about Hannah is the intense love she had for her two children. Channing and Nova made her world a perfect place and she lived to love them. She considered them the greatest joy and accomplishment of her life. Besides her children, her relationships with her family and close friends were the most important to her. She made sure to keep connected with them-every detail of their lives mattered to her. Hannah always kept an incredible sense of humor no matter what was going on in her life, and if you were around her, chances are you were laughing. If you were a friend or even acquaintance of hers, you were sure to get a huge hug when she saw you. Hannah had a true giver’s heart, a burden for the down and out, always finding a way to lend a helping hand even if she herself needed it more. Her witty and sarcastic sense of humor, her infectious smile and her genuine and beautiful soul are just a few things that made her who she was and what will be missed the most.
