Allen Bernard Anderson Sr. was born on July 17, 1949 in Savannah, Georgia and passed away on December 7, 2023 at his home in Centerville. He was 74 years old.

He is the son of the late Bernard Emory Anderson and Catherine Schuman Anderson.

He was also preceded in death by his wife Coleen Roberts Anderson, and brother Timmy Anderson.

He is survived by his sons Justin Anderson, Allen Anderson Jr., and Michael Anderson. Daughters Shelley Anderson and Danielle Anderson. Several Grandchildren. Brothers Marty Anderson, David Anderson, and Barry Anderson. His beloved Great Pyrenees Dog Marley. Along with many other relatives, friends, and loved ones.

Allen worked many years as a handy man. He could do it all from from electrical to plumbing to drywall and everything in between. He built every home he lived in from the ground up his self with no plans except what he would scratch out on a piece of paper. He was an exceptionally talented tradesman.

In his younger days he liked to pilot airplanes. He owned a Cessna single engine plane and spent many hours flying, until he crashed it during a storm. He talked often about his time in the sky. Allen also enjoyed riding motorcycles. When he started out he would ride his Suzuki 750 and as time went on he moved to cruiser style bikes. He loved to play the guitar and was in several bands through the years playing gospel music.

He loved his family and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In keeping with Allen’s wishes he will be cremated.
