Leo Richard Amacher, age 83, born August 8, 1921 in New Philadelphia, Tuscarwaras Co, OH, died May 9, 2005 at his residence in Hohenwald, TN. The funeral will be held at McDonald Funeral Home Inc, May 10, 2005 at 1:00 PM. The officiating clergy Bobby Carroll, and Malcolm George. Burial will take place May 10, 2005 in the Swiss Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN. Survivors include his wife, Jo Ruth (Talley) Amacher; son, Richard Amacher; daughter, Anita Safford; four Grandchildren and seven Great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Lena (Schmidt) Amacher and a brother, Leon Amacher.
