Joann Allen was born on April 2, 1937, in Lyles, Tennessee, and passed away on April 22, 2021, in Nashville. She was 84 years old.

She is the daughter of the late Albert Clyde Tyler Sr. and Lessie M. Tyler.

She was also preceded in death by her husband Charles Allen, brothers Albert Clyde Jr. and Eugene Tyler, and great-granddaughter Sarah Elise Adam.

She is survived by her sons, Charles Michael Allen (Cynthia) and Marvin Lynn Allen (Nancy) of Lyles. Sister,  Evelyn Adkins. Grandchildren,  Tracy, Carlie, Crystal, Jeremy, Jason, and Dustin. Great-grandchildren, Grace, Connor, Tyler, Bella, Erika, Drake, Charlie, and Sarah. Along with several nieces, nephews, and other close friends of the family.

She was a member of the Rocky Valley Church of Christ. 

Graveside Services will be 25 April 2021 at 2:00 PM at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Centerville, TN.
