Her and DJ met while she was working at a Howard Johnson’s Restaurant. He would stop frequently for coffee just to see her. This led to a wonderful 57 years of marriage. They were able to travel and visit friends they had met over the years in Florida, as well as visit several other places. They also enjoyed taking trips to Tunica together. DJ says he would go with her anywhere she would let him.
June was a selfless person, and was always putting the needs of everyone else before her own. She kept a spotless home and was always prepared to entertain friends and family. She volunteered at the Hickman County Senior Center helping Ann Mobley with the activities there as long as she was able. She was a wonderful lady and will be deeply missed by all her friends and family.
In keeping with her wishes there will be no services held at this time.
