Francis Jefferson Fite is my great-grandfather and William Fletcher Fite and Mary Catherine Lentz are my 2nd great-grandparents. William Fletcher Fite was the son of Jacob Fite and Elizabeth “Betsy” Crowell. His wife, Mary Catherine Lentz, was the daughter of Isaac Lentz and Mary B Arnold. Both were born in Lewis Co, TN and can be found on the 1850 Census of Lewis Co, TN.
