Kathryn “Kathy” Mary Johnson, age 69 of Centerville, TN, passed away on August 25, 2021.  She was born 7 Aug 1952,

Survived by son, Cody Johnson (Lacey), grandchildren, Merritt Johnson and Max Johnson, mother, Lorraine Wasik, sisters, Nancy Johnson and Patricia Lee, brothers, Paul Wasik, Alan Wasik, and John Wasik.

Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Doug Johnson. She is also preceded by her father, Frank Wasik.

Kathy graduated from Saint Bernard Academy in Nashville, TN. After graduation she received two masters degrees from MTSU. Doug and Kathy Johnson along with Doug’s parents Ralph and Elizabeth Johnson owned the Centerville Western Auto Store that was open from 1946 to 2007. Kathy had a love for education and she served the children of Hickman County as a teacher for 28 years. She was a much loved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, she will be dearly missed by all whom she came in contact with especially through teaching and the store. Mrs. Johnson was a long time member at the Centerville United Methodist Church.

She will be remembered on September 4, 2021 at 11 AM during Graveside Services at the Santa Fe Cemetery. Santa Fe, TN.
