Charles “Chuck” William Whitton, of Nunnelly, was born November 25, 1946, in Menominee, Michigan, to the late Richard William and Berta Ardella Gustafson Whitton and died August 9, 2021, at the age of 74 years.

Chuck is survived by his sisters, Carole Whitton of Nashville and Marlea Whitton of Hendersonville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donnie Whitton.

Chuck was an engineer and inventor and was a Veteran of the United States Coast Guard.
