Doyle B. Wherry was born July 5, 1935, to the late Braden and Virginia Chessor Wherry and died on May 5, 2021, at the age of 85 years.

He is survived by his wife Irene Williams Wherry, two sons, Randy and his wife Cathy and Damon and his wife Donna, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, his brother Lannie “Dutch” Wherry and his sister Wanda Bates. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Mr. Wherry was a member of the Shipps Bend United Methodist Church and was retired from Universal Fasteners. He was also an avid fisherman and dearly loved his time spent on the river.

Visitation will be 7 May 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County.  The Funeral will be 8 May 2021 at 11:00 AM McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County,  Interment will be in Oakmont Cemetery, Centerville, TN.
