Elizabeth Pearl Morton, Lynnwood Drive, 75, died Monday, July 1, 2002 at Maury Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Hugh and Rosa Stewart Cross, born August 6, 1926 in Mt. Pleasant. She was a homemaker. The funeral was held Wednesday, July 3, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. with Jerry Morton officiating. Burial was in the Ring Cemetery in Columbia. She is survived by her husband, James A. Morton; two sons, William Clifton Miller of Nashville, and Thomas Hilton Miller of Los Angeles, California; two step-sons, Jerry and Jim R. Morton of Hohenwald; a half-sister, Christine Wright of Columbia; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ollie C, Miller.
