Alfred “Alf” Lewis Loveless, Amacher Avenue, died Friday, June 14, 2002 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia. Mr. Loveless, 84, was the son of the late Lee Commodore and Martha Elizabeth Henley Loveless. He was born December 22, 1917 in Lewis County. He was an Army Veteran of World War II and ad retired equipment operator of Great Lakes Steel. The funeral was held Sunday, June 16 at 2:00 p.m. with Ministers Don Jones and L.C. Loveless officiating. Burial was in the Loveless Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Jewell Cooper Loveless of Hohenwald, three step-sons, Coy and Tim Anderson of Waynesboro, and Joe Anderson of Columbia; two step-daughters, Buna Holt of Del Rio, Texas, and Brenda Whitten of Cypress Inn; eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
