Joyce Annette Garner Mayberry was born on April 6, 1938, and passed away on June 6, 2024, at the age of 86.

Mrs. Mayberry is the daughter of the late Carl Francis and Lucille O’Guin Garner. She is also preceded in death by her husband Robert “Bobby” Mayberry.

Mrs. Mayberry is survived by her son, Anthony (Cynthia), brother, Billy Garner, grandson, Jordan Anthony Mayberry and many Garner and Mayberry nieces, nephews and their children. The family would like to thank a special niece, Linda Bates Crosby, who helped take care of Joyce.

Mrs. Joyce was a historian for Hickman County and loved doing research and genealogy. She also never backed away from a task even when it came to technology. She was always uploading historical photographs for future generations learn the history of Hickman county families. She will be missed by all who knew her.
