Shelia Sue Littleton Clayborne Beard was born on June 4, 1954, at home on Tom Patten Road in Lyles, Tennessee. She passed away peacefully in Nashville, Tennessee on August 4, 2021 after a long illness.

Shelia is preceded in death by her mother, Etta Roberson Littleton, her father, Lloyd Luther Littleton, her brother, Larry L. Littleton, her stepbrother, William Clarence “Buddy” Howell, her stepsister, Wilda Euvema Howell Brown, her maternal grandmother, Essie B. Groves Roberson, her maternal grandfather, Arthur Roberson, her paternal grandmother Jimmie Bishop Littleton, and her paternal grandfather, Arch Littleton.

Shelia is survived by her son, Christopher Wayne Clayborne (Amy), and her granddaughters, Kourtney Clayborne, Kelley Clayborne, and Sydney Clayborne, two grandchildren, as well as her sisters, Norma Jean Lovlace (Neal), Patricia Ann Jones (Steve), her brother, Charles Robert Littleton (Robbie), and her stepbrother, Charles Howell (Linda).

Shelia grew up in Dickson and Hickman Counties, receiving her entire education in the Hickman County School System.

Shelia lived life with an adventurous spirit, getting her greatest enjoyment from the sun and sand in Florida.

A graveside service for Sheila will be held at the Groves Cemetery in Lyles, Tennessee on Sunday, December 18, 2022, at 1 pm.
