Billy Ray Simmons, age 67, died June 18, 2009 at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. Funeral services were held June 21, 2009 at McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville with Bill McDonald officiating. Burial followed in the Campground Cemetery in Centerville. Mr. Simmons was born December 9, 1941 in Duck River, a son of the late William Garfield and Myrtle Riley Simmons. He was a carpenter and was married to the late Patricia Harris Simmons
