Emmanuel David Ross passed away on Good Friday, April 15, 2022 at the age of 53. He was born on Christmas Day, December 25, 1968 to Woodrow and Maybelle (Greenhaw) Ross.

In the late 90’s, he became a truck driver and did that for many years until he became an instructor. He passed on his knowledge at Superior Drivers Institution in Columbia for 6 years.

David had a heart of gold. He loved his family more than words could ever express. He loved life, making people laugh and would help anyone and everyone that he could. Since December, he has spent all of his time with his parents, loving them and being loved by them. HIs parents loved him with their whole hearts and wouldn’t have traded the last 4 months with him for anything. Between sweet kisses on their hands to laughter and singing, he filled their home with joy and love.

David is survived by his parents, Woodrow & Maybelle; brother, Timothy Woodrow Ross; sisters, Annie Paulette Rone (Ken Gauthier), Linda Carniece (John Dale) Zimmerman, and Vickie Kay (Randy) Foster; special family friend, Malissa Himes; several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews; and 3 fur babies, Bounce, Bitty and Remi.

David’s family and friends will be celebrating and honoring his life along with his father’s, Woodrow Ross, on Saturday, April 30th at 2:00 PM in Lewis County Memorial Gardens.
