The first fatality on a Memphis Expressway project<br \/>\noccurred Tuesday,when an 18-year-old stickpicker,whose parents are Lauderdale<br \/>\nCountians,was run over by a tractor on Highway 51 South at Carleton Road.<br \/>\nBilly Noble GRIGGS was dead when the ambulance arrived with his body at<br \/>\nMethodist Hospital.The driver of the tractor,James R.MASON,43,said he saw the<br \/>\nyouth climb on the tractor when he stopped for water.
