RIPLEY – John Smith Rice<\/strong>, 84, of Bartlett, formerly of Ripley, retired employee of International Harvester, died of heart failure Thursday at his home. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Garner Funeral Home with burial in Maplewood Cemetery. He was a member of West Frayser Baptist Church.
