Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Halls Funeral Home with burial in Greenhill Memorial Gardens there. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Halls. He was also a World War II Army veteran and served in the Africa and European Theaters.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Campbell, the husband of Mary Elizabeth Bryan Campbell, also leaves three daughters, Brenda Holt and Diane Smith, both of Halls, and Mary Ann Johnson of Ripley; two sons, James Campbell of Ripley and Danny Campbell of Halls; two sisters, Ruby Stanford of Huntingdon and Beatrice Manning of Milan; a brother, Thomas Campbell of Huntingdon, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>The Commercial Appeal (Memphis, TN)<br \/>\nOctober 22, 1999<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mitchell Campbell, 76, retired employee of Tupperware in Halls, died of cancer Thursday at his home.
