Lauderdale County. Know all men by these presents: That<br \/>\nwe, I.W. PACE and wife, EMMA C. PACE, for and inconsideration of R.M. MIDYETT and his<br \/>\nwife, MRS. JULIA MIDYETT, having conveyed to us, by their deed of even date<br \/>\nherewith, a certain lot or parcel of land, together with the improvements<br \/>\nthereon, lying, situate, and being in the 14th Civil District of Lauderdale<br \/>\nCounty, Tennessee, containing 8 1\/2 acres more or less, and which said deed will be<br \/>\nimmediately recorded and to which reference is here made for a full and complete<br \/>\ndescription to said lot or parcel of land so conveyed to us by said MIDYETT and<br \/>\nwife, MRS. JULIA MIDYETT, we have this day bargained and sold, and do by these<br \/>\npresents hereby transfer and convey unto said R.M. MIDYETT and MRS.JULIA<br \/>\nMIDYETT, the following described lots or parcels of land, lying, situate and being<br \/>\nin the 14th Civil District of said County and being the same lots or parcels of<br \/>\nland conveyed to me, I.W. PACE, by C.K. PIPKIN and wife by deed recorded in<br \/>\nRegister&#8217;s Office of Lauderdale County, Tennessee in Deed Book E-3, Page 570 to<br \/>\nwhich reference is here made for a full and complete description to the<br \/>\nsame, which is thus bounded and describes, TO WIT: Beginning in the center of the<br \/>\nroad that leads north to Macedonia Church at the southwest corner of said church<br \/>\nlote of 1 1\/2 acres; thence south with said road 19 1\/2 poles to CHEEK&#8217;S corner<br \/>\nof J.M. PENNINGTON&#8217;S lot; thence east with said L.F. CHEEK&#8217;S lot to the northeast<br \/>\ncorner 12 poles; thence north 19 1\/2 poles to the church lot; thence west 12<br \/>\npoles to the beginning; containing 1 1\/2 acres more or less. SECOND TRACT:<br \/>\nBeginning at a stake in a small branch with beech and hickory pointers, runs<br \/>\nthence north 44 degrees east 23 poles; thence north 22 degrees east 37 1\/2<br \/>\npoles; thence north 65 degrees 2 1\/2 poles to a stake with two beech and sugar<br \/>\ntree pointers; thence west 66 degrees north 26 1\/4 poles to a beech; thence west<br \/>\n38 poles to a stake, with a beech pointer; thence west 71 degrees south 15 poles<br \/>\nto a stake with poplar pointer; thence west 4 degrees south 16 1\/2 poles to a<br \/>\nstake with elm pointer, thence west 85 degrees north 33 3\/4 poles to a stake in<br \/>\nthe west line; thence south with west line 28 poles to an iron stake; thence<br \/>\neast 17 3\/4 poles to a stake; thence east 74 poles to the beginning, containing<br \/>\n35 acres, more or less. But there is included within the boundaries of the second<br \/>\ndescribed tract of 35 acres and excluded there from a tract of 25 acres which we<br \/>\nconveyed to J.K. PIPKIN by deed duly recorded in the Register&#8217;s Office of<br \/>\nLauderdale County, Tennessee in Deed Book I-3, Page 170, to which reference is here<br \/>\nmade for a full and complete description to the 25 acre tract, and also a three<br \/>\nacre tract which we conveyed to R.L. PICKINS by deed recorded in said Register&#8217;s<br \/>\nOffice in Deed Book J-3, Page 287, leaving a balance in said 35 acre tract of 7<br \/>\nacres which we convey by this instrument. To have and to hold said two tracts of<br \/>\nland together with all improvements thereon less executions hereinabove referred<br \/>\nto unto the said R.M. MIDYETT and wife, MRS. JULIA MIDYETT, their heirs and assigns<br \/>\nforever. We covenant to and with the said R.M. MIDYETT and wife, MRS. JULIA MIDYETT<br \/>\nthat we are well seized and possessed of said two tracts of land that we have a<br \/>\ngood right to convey the same, and they are unencumbered and that we will warrant<br \/>\nand forever defend the title thereto to them, their heirs and assigns. In<br \/>\nwitness whereof we have hereunto set our hands on this 30th day of<br \/>\nSeptember,1921. I.W. PACE.
