MURLEY<\/strong> et al TO MRS. <strong>JANE MURLEY<\/strong>] Know all men by these presents that we,<br \/>\nIRENE HUTCHERSON, WILLIAM HENRY KLUTTS, and R.M.F. MURLEY for and in<br \/>\nconsideration of One Dollar cash in hand paid to us, receipt of which is hereby<br \/>\nacknowledged and for the purpose of carrying out a family settlement made by us<br \/>\nwherein we have partitioned the land of M.C. MURLEY, deceased, in accordance with<br \/>\nhis wishes, have this day bargained and sold and do by these presents transfer<br \/>\nand convey unto MRS.MARY JANE MURLEY, widow of M.C. MURLEY, for and during her<br \/>\nnatural life with the remainder to DORSEY WHITE and VERSIE BAIN as tenants in<br \/>\ncommon in fee simple, the following described lot, tract or parcel of land<br \/>\nlying, being and situate in the second civil district of Lauderdale<br \/>\nCounty, Tennessee, and thus bounded and described: Beginning at a stake at the<br \/>\nnorthwest corner of the M.C. MURLEY land runs thence north 86 degrees west 80<br \/>\npoles to the northwest corner of the BOB MURLEY 10.12 acre tract, thence south<br \/>\n110 poles to the southeast corner of the HENRY KLUTTS et al 10.3 acre<br \/>\ntract, thence west with his south line 16 feet to a stake; thence east 844 feet<br \/>\nto a stake in E.M. RICE&#8217;s north line, thence with said line north 59 poles to a<br \/>\nstake in same; thence continuing with his line west 42.24 poles to a stake;<br \/>\nthence north 39 poles to a stake in the road; thence east with said road 4 poles<br \/>\nto a stake in the center of same; thence with said north 926 feet to the point<br \/>\nof beginning, containing 83 acres, more or less, but excluding from this conveyance<br \/>\na tract of four acres laid off to WILLIAM HENRY KLUTTS, and a tract of 11 acres<br \/>\nlaid off to WILLIAM HENRY KLUTTS and IRENE HUTCHERSON leaving 68 acres herein<br \/>\nconveyed. To have and to hold our entire interest in said above-described tracts<br \/>\nof land to the said MRS.MARY JANE MURLEY for and during her natural lifetime<br \/>\nwith the remainder to VERSIE BAIN and DORSIE WHITE as tenants in common in fee<br \/>\nsimple with whom we covenant that we are well seized of our said interest in<br \/>\nsaid lands; that the same are not encumbered except for the 1936 taxes which the<br \/>\ngrantees agree to pay as a part of the consideration of this deed. And that we<br \/>\nwill warrant and forever defend the title thereto against the lawful claims of<br \/>\nall persons whomsoever except as aforesaid.<\/p>\n<p>Witness our hands on this the 18th<br \/>\nday of March 1936. R.M.F. MURLEY, WILLIAM H. KLUTTS, IRENE HUTCHERSON. State of<br \/>\nTennessee Lauderdale County.<\/p>\n<p>On this the 18th day of March,1936, before me personally appeared IRENE<br \/>\nHUTCHERSON, WILLIAM HENRY KLUTTS and R.M. MURLEY to me known to be the persons<br \/>\ndescribed in and who executed the foregoing instrument and who acknowledged that<br \/>\nthey executed the same as their free act and deed.<\/p>\n<p>Witness my hand and seal of office, at office in Ripley, Tennessee, on this the<br \/>\n18th day of March 1936.
