Hinton<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>State of Tennesse<br \/>\nLauderdale County<\/p>\n<p>We, Julia Midgett and husband, R.M. Midgett, for and in consideration of the sum<br \/>\nof $503.25, to us cash in hand paid, the receipt of which is hereby<br \/>\nacknowledged, have this day bargained and sold and do hereby transfer and convey<br \/>\nunto L.L. Hinton, a certain tract or parcel of land which is situated, lying and<br \/>\nbeing in the 14th civil district of said county and bounded as follows:<br \/>\nbeginning at a stake with elm pointers; thence north 13 poles to a stake in the<br \/>\nfield; thence west 46 poles to a stake in the big road, elm and locust pointers;<br \/>\nthence north 42 degrees east 46 poles to a stake with black oak pointers; thence<br \/>\nnorth 7 degrees east 62 poles to Mitchell&#8217;s south boundary line; thence east 37<br \/>\npoles to a stake, Ray&#8217;s west boundary line; thence south 25 poles to Ray&#8217;s<br \/>\ncorner; thence east 25 poles to a stake in bass&#8217; west boundary line; thence<br \/>\nsouth 39 poles to a stake in the big road; thence northwesterly direction with<br \/>\nthe big road 66 poles to the beginning. Containing 38 acres more or less. Being<br \/>\nthe same tract of land conveyed to said Julia Midgett by said L.L. Hinton by<br \/>\ndeed registered in the register&#8217;s office of said county to which reference is<br \/>\nmade. Said 38 acres is conveyed, subject to the homestead and dower of Mrs.<br \/>\nMartha a. Duncan in said land. To have and to hold said tract of land to the<br \/>\nsaid L.L. Hinton, his heirs and assigns forever, to the homestead and dower of<br \/>\nsaid Mrs. Duncan, in fee simple. We covenant to and with said Hinton that we are<br \/>\nwell seized and possessed of said land, that we have a good right to convey<br \/>\nsame, that same is unincumbered and that we will warrant and forever defend the<br \/>\ntitle thereto against the lawful claims of all persons whatsoever. This the<br \/>\n24th day of January 1910.<\/p>\n<p>R.M. Midgett<br \/>\nJulia Midgett<br \/>\nState of Tennessee<br \/>\nLauderdale County<\/p>\n<p>Personally appeared before me, W.H. Crichfield, a notary public, in and for<br \/>\nsaid county, R.M. Midgett and his wife, Julia Midgett, the within named<br \/>\nbargainors, with whom I am personally acquainted, and who acknowledged that<br \/>\nthey executed the within deed for the purposes therein contained. And julia<br \/>\nMidgett, wife of the said R.M. Midgett, having appeared before me, privately<br \/>\nand apart from her husband, the said R.M. Midgett, acknowledged the execution<br \/>\nof said deed to have been done by her freely, voluntarily and understandingly,<br \/>\nwithout compulsion or constraint from her said husband, and for the purposes<br \/>\ntherein expressed. Witness my hand and seal of office at office in edith,<br \/>\nTennessee this 28th day of January 1910.<br \/>\nW.H.
