RAINS, R.M. Business Record Books
Record Books of R.M. Rains
1911-1967
by: Charlotte Holloway
September 12, 2000
The books of R.M. Rains were kept for his business. The people listed in the
books either bought goods from him, did work for him or he purchased good from
them. I know nothing about this business nor the people listed. I just hope it
might give someone a lead on their family. One book says Brownsville and
another says Ripley, so I’m listing this in both counties. Some of the writing
was hard to read as these books have been in a shed for many years.
