PASSES AWAY–Mrs. Martha Jane HOLLOWAY, daughter of the late Dr. J.N. and Mrs. Davey WARDLAW, was born in Ripley, Tenn., Jan.5,1853 and died July 3,1932 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R.S. SMITH in Moline, Ill. She spent her early girlhood in Ripley and at the age of 17 years was married to Mr. Wm. H. HOLLOWAY, who preceded her in death 45 years ago. After the death of her husband she moved her family to Colorado Springs, Colo., in 1903.In recent years living in Moline, Ill. She is survived by children; Mrs. Eddie Sue O’GORMAN of Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Tessa SMITH and Mrs. Jennie HOLLOWAY of Moline, Ill., Mrs. Laura ELLIS, of Lakeland, Fla., Mrs. Helen WINSTON and Mrs. Frances PIERRON, of Colorado Springs, Mrs. Irvie LINK, of Denver, Colo.; also a sister, Mrs. Thomas STEELE, Sr., who is now the only surviving member of the family of Dr. J.N. WARDLAW. Illness prevented the sister from attending the funeral in Moline Tuesday afternoon.
