Charles Joseph ALLEN, 52, of 933 Jackson Ave., Memphis, brother of Grady ALLEN and Mrs. Ruby NICHOLS, both of Ripley, was dead on arrival at 8:15 p.m. Monday at St. Joseph Hospital in Memphis, of an apparent heart attack. Services were Wednesday in Ripley Funeral Home. (no burial place given). Born in Lauderdale County, he moved to Memphis in 1954. He leaves his wife, Marion Elizabeth Kirby ALLEN; son, Charles Lyle ALLEN, of Memphis; daughters, Mrs. Marion Jo KIRK and Mrs. Louise NEAL, both of Lorian, Ohio; another brother, James Willie ALLEN, of Lorain, Ohio; and two other sisters, Mrs. Peggy SHOEMAKE, of Memphis and Mrs. Francis COLEMAN, of Grand Prairie, Texas.
