R.M.F. MURLEY et al TO MRS. JANE MURLEY] Know all men by these presents that we,
IRENE HUTCHERSON, WILLIAM HENRY KLUTTS, and R.M.F. MURLEY for and in
consideration of One Dollar cash in hand paid to us, receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged and for the purpose of carrying out a family settlement made by us
wherein we have partitioned the land of M.C. MURLEY, deceased, in accordance with
his wishes, have this day bargained and sold and do by these presents transfer
and convey unto MRS.MARY JANE MURLEY, widow of M.C. MURLEY, for and during her
natural life with the remainder to DORSEY WHITE and VERSIE BAIN as tenants in
common in fee simple, the following described lot, tract or parcel of land
lying, being and situate in the second civil district of Lauderdale
County, Tennessee, and thus bounded and described: Beginning at a stake at the
northwest corner of the M.C. MURLEY land runs thence north 86 degrees west 80
poles to the northwest corner of the BOB MURLEY 10.12 acre tract, thence south
110 poles to the southeast corner of the HENRY KLUTTS et al 10.3 acre
tract, thence west with his south line 16 feet to a stake; thence east 844 feet
to a stake in E.M. RICE’s north line, thence with said line north 59 poles to a
stake in same; thence continuing with his line west 42.24 poles to a stake;
thence north 39 poles to a stake in the road; thence east with said road 4 poles
to a stake in the center of same; thence with said north 926 feet to the point
of beginning, containing 83 acres, more or less, but excluding from this conveyance
a tract of four acres laid off to WILLIAM HENRY KLUTTS, and a tract of 11 acres
laid off to WILLIAM HENRY KLUTTS and IRENE HUTCHERSON leaving 68 acres herein
conveyed. To have and to hold our entire interest in said above-described tracts
of land to the said MRS.MARY JANE MURLEY for and during her natural lifetime
with the remainder to VERSIE BAIN and DORSIE WHITE as tenants in common in fee
simple with whom we covenant that we are well seized of our said interest in
said lands; that the same are not encumbered except for the 1936 taxes which the
grantees agree to pay as a part of the consideration of this deed. And that we
will warrant and forever defend the title thereto against the lawful claims of
all persons whomsoever except as aforesaid.

Tennessee Lauderdale County.
On this the 18th day of March,1936, before me personally appeared IRENE
HUTCHERSON, WILLIAM HENRY KLUTTS and R.M. MURLEY to me known to be the persons
described in and who executed the foregoing instrument and who acknowledged that
they executed the same as their free act and deed.
