MARY JANE MURLEY et als TO ROBERT M.F.MURLEY] Know all men by these presents
that whereas on the 5th day of November,1935, M.C. MURLEY, a citizen and
resident, testate at his home in said County, leaving a last will and
testament which has been duly probated in the County Court of Lauderdale
County, Tenn. by which he made a division of all the lands owned by him, and
whereas said partition was not satisfactory of equitable we, R.M., called BOB
MURLEY, and referred to in the will as ROBERT FRANKLIN MURLEY, WILLIAM HENRY
KLUTTS, IRENE HUTCHERSON, VERSIE BAIN, DORSIE WHITE and MRS.MARY JANE MURLEY, his
widow, being all heirs at law and devisees of the said M.C. MURLEY have agreed
upon a family settlement of the lands owned by the said M.C. MURLEY at the time
of his death, and now for the purpose of carrying out said family
settlement, we, the said MRS.MARY JANE MURLEY, VERSIE BAIN, DORSIE WHITE, WILLIAM
HENRY KLUTTS, and IRENE HUTCHERSON, for and in consideration of the sum of One
($1.00) Dollars, cash in hand paid, have this day bargained and sold and by these
presents transfer and convey unto ROBERT M.F. MURLEY the two following described
lots, tracts or parcels of land or entire interest in said lands, which said
tracts are thus described, This tract is situate in the 2nd civil district of
Lauderdale County, Tennessee, and is thus bounded: Beginning at the northwest
corner of the M.C. MURLEY 55 acre tract, runs thence south 86 degrees west 30
poles to a stake in the road, thence south 898 feet to the north west corner of
the 10.3 acre laid off to HENRY KLUTTS et al; thence north——–containing 10.12
acres. —– This tract lies in the 10th civil district of Haywood County
Tennessee and is thus bounded: Beginning at the northeast corner of the original
MURLEY tract runs thence south 1040 to the southwest corner of the same; thence
south 87 degrees west 850 feet to a stake; thence north 1040 feet to a stake in
the north line of the MURLEY land; thence 850 feet to the point of
beginning, containing 22 acres, more or less. To have and to hold our entire
interest in the said two tracts of land above described to the said R.M.F. MURLEY
to him, his heirs and assigns forever in fee simple, making him the owner of the
same outright and in fee simple. AND we covenant to and with the said
R.M.F. MURLEY that we are well seized of said interest in said land, that we have
a good and lawful right to sell and convey the same and that said lands are not
encumbered except for a trust deed thereon to secure an indebtedness to the
Federal Land Bank of Louisville, Kentucky, the unpaid portion of which is
approximately $520.00, one half of which the said R.M.F. MURLEY assumes, and the
other one half will be assumed by WILLIAM HENRY KLUTTS and IRENE HUTCHERSON, and
for the 1936 taxes which the said R.M.F. MURLEY agrees to pay as part of the
consideration of this deed; and we will warrant and forever defend the title to
our interest in said tracts of land against the lawful claims of all persons
whomsoever, except as above set out. WITNESS our hands on this the 18th day of

DORSEY WHITE. STATE OF TENNESSEE, LAUDERDALE COUNTY. On this the 18th day of
March,1936, Before me personally MRS.MARY JANE MURLEY, VERSIE BAIN, DORSEY WHITE,
WILLIAM HENRY KLUTTS and IRENE HUTCHERSON, to be known the persons described in
and who executed the foregoing instrument and who acknowledged that they
executed the same as theur free act and deed. Witness my hand and seal of
