James Monroe Newman, retired farmer of Halls, died Wednesday in Parkview Hospital in Dyersburg. He was 63. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Halls First Assembly of God Church. Burial will be in Green Hill Memorial Gardens here with Garner's Ripley Funeral Home in charge.
