NORTH PEKIN - Jennie Audrey Sonderman, 81, of Henning, Tenn., died Sunday, Sept. 18, 2005, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Ripley, Tenn. She was formerly of North Pekin. Funeral services will be today at Garner Funeral Home in Ripley, Tenn. Local services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Woolsey Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. The Rev. Huey Long will officiate. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. She was born June 21, 1924, in Lauderdale County, Tenn., to Robert and Ethel Crook. She married Allen Eugene Sonderman July 10, 1943. Surviving are her husband; seven sons, Gene Sonderman of Manito, Ray (Becky) Sonderman of Ripley, Tenn., Mike (Mary) Sonderman and Tim (Sally) Sonderman, both of Pekin, Ron (June) Sonderman, Stan Sonderman and David Leroy (Sally) Sonderman, all of North Pekin; five daughters, Rebecca (Theodore) Appleyard of North Pekin, Brenda Dosier of Grants, N.M., Ola Stever of Henning, Tenn., Loretta (Carl) Richmond of Ripley, Tenn., and Joyce (Robert) Baugh of South Pekin; 54 grandchildren; 91 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters. Seven brothers and sisters and one grandson preceded her in death. Sonderman was a homemaker. She was a member of First Apostolic Church in Ripley, Tenn., and a former member of First Pentecostal Church in North Pekin. |
