Funeral services for Samuel Odell Hutcherson were held at 4 p.m. Friday at Mary's Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Odis Shultz, pastor, officiating. Garner's Funeral Home directed burial in Mary's Chapel Cemetery. Mr.Hutcherson, 71, died at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Lauderdale County Hospital after three days illness. He was born in Lauderdale County and was a farmer. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Irene Klutts Hutcherson, two sons, Odell Hutcherson, of Ripley, and Charles Hutcherson, of Chicago, IL; six daughters, Mrs.Jewell Hoggard and Mrs.Peggy Pridmore, both of Chicago, IL, Mrs. Mabel Daniel, Mrs. William Lee, Mrs. Pansy Summar and Miss Joan Hutcherson, all of Ripley; one brother, Will Hutcherson, of Ripley; and two sisters, Mrs. Addie Lovell, of Ripley and Mrs. Presley Hutcherson, of Memphis. |
