Ripley, Tenn.----- Services for Edwin Lyle Smith were to be held at 3 p.m. today at Curve Methodist Church, with Rev. Larry Young officiating. Burial at the Cross Roads Cemetery near Ripley. Garner's Ripley Funeral home in Charge.
He was 54, and a methodist. mr. Smith was a Pharmacist & operated a drug Store in Ripley for many years.
He was a native of Lauderdale County where he had spent his entire life. He was a Veteran of World War II. He died at the family residence folowing a long illness.
He leaves two brothers, W. A. Smith Jr., Halls, J. C. Smith, Curve; three sisters, miss Annie Lee Smith, Mildred Smith; and Mrs. Wheeler Vaden, all of Curve.
