Essie Paul Paris, 75, farmer, died early Monday in his home at Concord after three illness. Services were Tuesday in Ripley Funeral Home, burial in Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Halls.

Born in Alabama, he had moved to Tennessee as a child, living in Crockett, Haywood and Lauderdale Counties. He leaves his wife, Beulah Mae Acklin PARIS; his sons, Boyd Paris, of Halls and Gerald Paris, of Gates; his daughters, Mrs. Pauline Smith, of Ripley, Bertha Mae ROBISON and Mrs. Elizabeth Ann MOORE, both of Halls, Mrs. Irene Hindrix, of Brownsville, and Mrs. Marie McFarland, of Lexington, Ky.
