David Louis O’Briant, 17, of near Halls, died at 7:30 a.m. Monday when the motorcycle he was riding en route to Halls High School collided with an automobile on Hwy. 88 west of Halls, Services were at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Mount Vernon Baptist Church at Unionville, of which he was a member. Burial was in Green Hill Memorial Gardens, with Halls Funeral Home in charge. An 11th grade student in Halls High, he was vice president of his distributive education class. Trooper Joe Jacobs said a car ran off the right shoulder of the road, cut back onto the highway and crossed the center line, colliding with O’Briant’s motorcycle. He leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis H. O’Briant and two brothers, John O’Briant and Robert O’Briant, all of near Halls. |
