Mrs. J.A. Brizzell DEATH--"How sweet are the memories of loved ones so dear; Who've left
us and gone to the 'Home Over There', " On the evening of February 17th at 9 o'clock, at
the Baptist Hospital, Memphis, death came and claimed a friend, one we felt we couldn't part
with, but the Lord saw fit to take her home. Mrs. Etta BIZZELL, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. M.
P. RAY, was born December 15, 1877. She was reared in a christian home and professed faith in
Christ more than 30 years ago, uniting with Mary's Chapel church, at which place her funeral
was conducted by Rev. N. H. RHODES Friday morning. She was married to J. A. BIZZELL 38 years
ago. To this union were born ten children, six of whom are left with the father to mourne her
departure. During the months of her bodily afflication, her patience and cheerfulness was remarkable.
The end came peacefully after the long drawn out struggle to live. There shall be a meeting
place past the grave. Till then, faithful servant of God, farewell.
