The death of Mr. Postell
Reece, which occurred in the Brownsville Hospital Tuesday morning was a great
shock to the many friends of this young man. The cause of his death made his passing all the
more heart rending, resulting from a hit on the left temple while playing baseball Saturday
afternoon at Mascedonia. After the injury, he continued playing for several innings, when he
was stricken and never regained consciousness. He was the only son of Mr. & Mrs. M. J. REECE,
17 years of age, and was a noble young man. His remains were laid to rest Tuesday afternoon
in Pleasant Grove cemetery at Edith.
